I must confess, getting ready for Christmas did require a trip to the fabric store. After all, I didn’t have any fleece in Baylor green and gold.and while I was there…really only one extra piece of black fleece as it is so versatile and at such a great bargain.
A scarf and head band to keep my daughter and her husband warm at those football games.
Naturally, I used extra fabric as packing material! I am trying to sew our give it all away!
Just another way to use those left over bits of Tulle. Gift wrap. I’m not a big fan of purchasing gift wrap. Usually I reuse the gift bags I receive. Some things are just too big and require paper. Tulle in place of cellophane to hold the cookies and fudge in the vase which came with the house. More Tulle to make a fancy ribbon.
I’m sure someone will love this. Well at least the treats inside. Oatmeal cookies, banana bread and fudge.
One pan of fudge chock full of nuts, one topped with crushed candy canes. Thank goodness I’ve given it all away.
And still not much change to the massive pile of fabric.
